the edges blur together like
a rain-soaked picture and nothing changes,
like i'm watching my life pass by
in slow motion,
and i'm left empty-handed.
i spend many hours considering what has been done and how i have changed and what's wrong, yet scared to move forward and start anew, to leave all of it behind.
my life will never be as good as it should have been and yet it cannot happen in this life, so i shall watch all i know slip slowly away, until all i know is my tears.
